Very helpful, however I would have liked more information on the differences between accommodation choices to ensure we were offered the facilities normally offered in a resort. Staying in an apartment meant we missed out on the normal resort facilities, eg. breakfast, baggage assistance etc, room service, so more information would have been great.

We do make every effort to explain by telephone and on the websites description of the properties the difference between the private apartments and the branded resort apartments within the Alamanda resort complex. The Cairns Holiday Specialists booking forms do not actually allow you to process a booking until you read and tick the box to say you have read and that you are aware that this is a private holiday apartment you are about to book. The price of the private apartments is also very competitive and as such price can be a defining factor in the final choice. All private apartment guests have full use of all the resorts common area facilities the only thing they do not have is charge back to the private apartment rooms for spa treatments, etc. All these services are pay as you go so you are most welcome to have breakfast in the restaurant. Extremely helpful. Met us at our apartment. Explained everything within the apartment. Recommended places to eat. Gave directions for supermarket etc. We got a great discount on tours.

ok, i was quoted one price and gave my credit card details and then the next day was told i could not get that price and it cost us one day more at island views.
I was disappointed as we were staying for 6 days at a cost of $410 a day, after being told we only had to pay for 5 and get the 6th free I was then suprised that the original price was not honoured.

In terms of booking our tours they were fantastic. Very helpful and polite and always got back to us quickly. Prices were very competitive.
